Recently, the “Openness, Cooperation, and Win-Win” Global Construction Bank Forum, aimed at facilitating the integration of government, banking, and enterprises in Hubei Province, was successfully held in Wuhan. The event was graced by the presence and speeches of Mr. Wang Bing, Vice President of China Construction Bank, and Mrs. Chen Ping, Vice Governor of Hubei Province. Joining the event were Mr. Meng Fanguang, Executive General Manager of Hubei International Economic and Technical Cooperation Co., Ltd.（HIETC）and Mr. Du Jun, Chief Accountant, who delivered insightful remarks and engaged in fruitful discussions.

Vice President Wang Bing reviewed the strong bond formed three years ago when the Construction Bank provided assistance to Hubei during the pandemic. He stated that the Construction Bank has always been conscious of the political and people-oriented nature of financial work, continuously improving professionalism. The bank will further play a role as a connecting point in the dual circulation strategy, leveraging its global institutional layout to support Hubei's high-quality development in terms of both "going out" and "bringing in". The bank will also utilize its fintech advantages to empower the development of new forms of foreign trade in Hubei, promote cross-border financial innovation, and facilitate trade facilitation in Hubei. It will strengthen coordination between domestic and international markets, as well as within the RCEP region, seizing new opportunities for foreign trade cooperation and contributing the wisdom and strength of the Construction Bank to support Hubei in building a new pattern of dual circulation. Wang Bing introduced that the first event of the "Construction Bank Global Matchmaking Festival" this year will be dedicated to "Jingnong Chuhai" and will be held in Wuhan in October. It will assist Hubei's agricultural product enterprises in cross-border supply-demand matching.

During the conference, Vice Governor Chen Ping warmly welcomed all the guests. She pointed out that Hubei Province is currently accelerating the construction of a leading area in the national new development pattern and striving to become an important strategic pivot for the rise of the central region. The economy is continuously recovering and stabilizing, with a strong industrial foundation and vigorous driving force. The province boasts abundant agricultural resources with distinctive characteristics. The momentum of openness is robust and steady, and the financial ecosystem is sound with an active market. All these factors provide excellent development opportunities for enterprises and financial institutions. Construction Bank has long been concerned about and supported the social and economic development of Hubei province. During the epidemic, various overseas institutions acted quickly and actively procured and donated epidemic prevention materials, fully supporting Hubei in winning the battle against the epidemic. This fully demonstrates the mission and responsibility of a major state-owned financial institution. We hope that Construction Bank will continue to deepen its strategic cooperation with Hubei, increase the input of financial resources, use financial vitality to support the development of the region, and promote high-quality development in our province.

At the event venue，Meng Fanguang delivered a presentation and shared the achievements of cooperation between HIETC and Construction Bank in recent years, as well as the development strategy of "going global" for the company. He emphasized that in the present and future, HIETC will always implement the national "Belt and Road" initiative and adhere to the domestic and international "dual circulation" strategic development direction. They will fully participate in Hubei Province's plan for opening up to the outside world and strive to become a leader in the integrated development of economy and trade within and outside of Hubei Province. He emphasized their commitment to promoting stable economic growth in Hubei Province, supporting the dual circulation development and high-level opening up of Hubei, and mobilizing the intelligence and strength to contribute to these goals.

It is reported that this is the first time that the overseas institutions of Construction Bank have gathered together to participate in a bank-enterprise docking event on a global scale. It is also the largest, most widely participated, and highest-level "bank-government-enterprise" overseas business matching event held by the financial industry in Hubei Province to date.

At present, Construction Bank has nearly 200 overseas institutions at various levels, covering six continents and 31 countries and regions. It has established business connections with nearly a thousand banks along the "Belt and Road" route. With the support of a well-established service network and a large customer base both domestically and internationally, Construction Bank has taken on the role of being an enterprise "matchmaker." It has launched the "Construction Bank Global Matchmaking Platform," assisting enterprises in international project, product, and service matchmaking, and facilitating partnerships with international collaborators.

It is understood that the "Construction Bank Global Matchmaking Platform" is the first cross-border matchmaking platform launched by Construction Bank in the industry. It focuses on various themes such as green development, intelligent manufacturing, rural revitalization, and cross-border e-commerce. It collaborates with government departments, investment and trade promotion agencies, chambers of commerce, and others. So far, it has organized 260 cross-border matchmaking events for 36 countries and regions. It has facilitated over 18,000 enterprises in achieving cloud exhibitions, cloud matchmaking, and cloud negotiations. This platform has contributed new financial strength to the stability and security of supply chains.
