Recently, HIETC, for the first time, transported 118 whole units of different models, including Skoda and Dongfeng, by the China-Europe Railway Express, directly to Russia. The train, under the number X8015, departed from Wuhan China Railway United Center Station and exited through the Alashankou Port. It took 20 days to arrive at its destination.

According to statistics, in 2023, HIETC has targeted the second-hand car markets in Central Asia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, etc., and has signed orders and long-term cooperation agreements for over ten thousand vehicles. The cooperative vehicle brands include Dongfeng, SAIC, GAC, FAW, host factories, dealers, and resource traders. The export destinations cover ten countries, including Russia, Uzbekistan, Laos, Germany, Liberia, Albania, Belarus, Costa Rica, Slovakia and Kazakhstan. In the first half of this year, the import and export volume of automobiles increased by 354% compared to the same period last year, with the export volume ranking at the forefront of the province.

Currently, HIETC has completed the preliminary construction of the first domestic full-process service center in Hubei Province, with the export of second-hand cars as its core business. It can efficiently undertake automobile export orders from Hubei and even the whole country, providing customers with one-stop services, including car storage, vehicle services, logistics transportation, customs clearance, and inspection, continuously enhancing the influence of Chinese brands in overseas markets.
